Cerro de Oro


Is necessary to get in car for the transfer to de village, which is eight kilometers away from Santiago Atitlán, Cerro de Oro its precisely located in the skirts of Tolimán Volcano, its shape seems like an elephant, and climbing that hill is very easy, the difficulty degree is about 1 or 2. Starts climbing from altitude of 1,710 meters above sea level, the vegetation in the area are growing coffee and cornfields. Some other atractives from the place are: a gazer, an a Stele with mayan inscriptions and the entrance to a cave and a mayan altar.
